CDL Driver
Drive for a growing, locally owned Watertown concrete crew — home every night.
CG Concrete LLC is hiring a dependable CDL Driver to keep our Watertown-based crews supplied and moving. You'll haul materials and equipment, keep our trucks road-ready, and be a key part of getting every pour done right and on time across Jefferson and Dodge counties.
We're a locally owned company that treats our people like family. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in a clean driving record, shows up on time, and is willing to jump in and help the crew when the truck is parked.
Schedule
Monday–Saturday, early starts (crews typically roll out around 6:00–7:00 AM). Overtime available in peak season. Home every night — no over-the-road travel.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate company trucks (dump truck, flatbed/trailer, and material hauling) to and from job sites
- Load, secure, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep accurate logs
- Coordinate deliveries and timing with the crew foreman
- Assist with concrete labor and site work when not driving
- Keep the truck cab, bed, and equipment clean and well-maintained
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class A or B) with a clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card (or ability to obtain before start)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background and driving-record check
- Reliable transportation to our Watertown yard
Preferred Experience
- Experience hauling for concrete, aggregate, or construction operations
- Dump truck and equipment-trailer experience
- Manual transmission experience
- Prior concrete or construction labor experience
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working outdoors in Wisconsin heat, cold, and variable weather
- Able to climb, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Willing to start early and work occasional Saturdays in season
